what's it worth, 6 cly engine and stuff

I know this is a touchy subject, but I have a friend that needs to support his habit, really, and he has a few items that he needs to turn into cash to support that.
it would be better to give him some dollars than see him destroy these things perhaps.
one is a series 3 6 cyl engine, is that an f head?
wheels to suit s3 or what ever,
and he also has a conversion kit to suit s3 to holden.

I am looking at what he has in the morning and do not want to be unfair if I decide to help him.

I do not want a 6 cyl, engine but someone here may, at the moment I do not know the condition, and suspect it may be seized due long term storage, or it may be the engine he overhauled some years ago, and do not know what is attached to it, apart from that it is attached to an engine stand.

so, with the useless information I have, can anyone throw up some values of these things?

a 6 cyl. complete engine in unknown condition is around $100
the holden engine kit , I would think of about $75
If they are just series rims In average condition $10 each, good condition $20-$30 each

I know someone who's developing a Land Rover 6 to perform like it always had the potential to perform. The work includes timing, breathing and exhaust modifications.

It may be a case that we all want our F heads back and dump the Holden engines.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I have never given up on them, I think they are a good solid engine. One look at the size of the big end and main journals, and the 7 bearing crank says to me that this engine is just asking for a bit of tuning, or a turbo.
Mine has only had the valve timing advanced 6deg, and that alone has made a noticeable difference to its performance.

I had one given to me. Actually, it was really given to someone else.
I'm told it was running when he took it out.
