    axles for series landies

I've done a lot of reading about replacing series axles with those with a central diff (aka patrol, hilux). Most of what I've read states theres vibrations due to the landy transfers and the diffs not lining up.
My question is what about using different transfers so they do?
What would the complications be, especially in something like my series3 swb?
As im looking in to going automatic it my solve a lot of my transmission choice and adapting problems.
As anybody here done it, heard of it? So far I've found nothing

Not sure how far your project has gone, but I would suggest getting maxi drive axles for the rear and also range rover diff centres. The diff centres strengthen the diff (but a higher ratio) and the axles I highly recommend for strength. Why I suggest this because I broke axles and diffs with the Holden 186 motor being too strong for the drivetrain. I have since travelled Aust in my Series 2a with the RR diff centre and Maxidrive axles and never had a problem. This was three years of travelling, with desert tracks and fully loaded up and never a problem.
    Cheers
