I can't, won't watch that.
watch unless you are faint hearted
a sad end for a defender that is imported to the usa as a serie 3 from the 70s
4x4 fans look away now! Land Rovers imported to U.S. are CRUSHED by customs for failing safety rules because they don't have airbags | Mail Online
This video clip will surely arouse much comment and be interesting to follow what you think about the clip
I can't, won't watch that.
This footage has been around for quite a while.
If you try to modify VIN numbers etc. to disguise a later vehicle as an earlier vehicle to get around import restrictions this is what will happen if you are caught.

yes it hurts the only thing that pleases me a little is that it is on the other side of the water so I do not need to find out where the scrap yard is located
it is one thing to tinker with wine number But just for that reasonis no need to do in this way, the car has not done anything wrong you can donate the car to a fire station in the wilderness or to some other good place. so no car trader profit from it but someone gets the benefit of the car
No, its the same as rebirthing a car here, totally illegal and warrants the entire vehicle being scrapped so it puts off others thinking of doing the same.
Not a lot of sympathy here for the dick that tried it and failed...

to convey this link was not a way to LOOK FOR SYMPATHY for those who tampers
it was not like it is or is not illegal.
What I mean, trying to tell you.
is that it is sad to see a nice car being destroyed and it must be better to donate the car to a smaller rescue station in a small village in the wilderness where there is unusual with great new cars available they usually commonly be old like they inherited from the larger rescue stations where they are considered too poor
and that it might be fun to see it when I myself have not seen it before and that it might be fun to hear what others think
They did it to make their point, highly publicised, every part damaged so it can't be used.
Whether every car suffers this fate is unknown.
