The thread that Colin has highlighted should be useful as is the advice about looking for the parts from a wreck. However, given the age of the trucks and fact that the heaters weren't all that great to begin with be aware that the older parts may be fairly u/s anyway - taps, core, blower motors etc.

A few bits can be bought new - heater taps from Rare Spares on the Gold Coast, hoses and clamps from pretty much any auto shop. You can overhaul the blower fan motors depending on their condition, but the plastic impeller and housing need to be carefully handled as they deteriorate with age - the shrouds are prone to cracking where the duct clamps are overtightened.

In case you decide to look overseas for parts be aware that the UK heaters were generally different to the locally assembled ones - other than possibly the junctions that fit the head. Taps are different (type, location) as are the boxes, water cores and air tubing. You can get around it with a bit of perseverance.

You might remove the tap if it leaks and you can't get one and if the heater core leaks you might remove the heater altogether.
Most people would probably bypass the heater and leave it in place so if yours is 'missing' it might not have had one.

Not sure if they were an option in Australia or STD fitment, the UK parts manual lists them as an option.
