Landy Friendly Mechanic Northern Beaches for Pink Slip

    Hi Everyone.

I've recently driven my 77 88" down from QLD (somewhat of a life changing experience, 13hrs Brisbane to Sydney). Was wondering if anyone on the northern beaches can advise if there are any Landy friendly mechanics where I can get a pink slip before I change the rego?

    Cheers

You could try Ayres in Brookvale, they specialise in Landys, I haven't used them to get a pink slip, but they were unfazed by my requests to heli coil my oil filter housing on my 2a.

I use the garage on Albert St in Freshwater, they understand old cars, but won't pass a dodgy old heap, which I think is fair enough

You need a blue slip to change full rego in NSW.

If its for historic rego, then Greenlight Car Care, Pioneer Ave Thornleigh can do pink slips. Carl is a Defender driver and member of the LROC..

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Not Northern Beaches but KLR Automotive at South Windsor ar LR specialists and can do a blue slip. They also know and work on Series Landies (they have a very nice ex-RAF lightweight in there at the moment)

Davis Performance Landys at Annangrove can certainly do pink slips and very likely blue slips.

If you need a bluey, then definitely talk to Ayres. If they can't do one for you, they'll certainly know a LR friendly company who can.

that's pretty good seeing it takes 10 hours gold coast to Sydney, how many fuel stops though?
