    Special Tools For IOE Engines

Found these drawings for special tools for IOE engines in the back of a Rover Cyclops workshop manual . I made some of them few years back when I was rebuilding my 1699cc S1 motor, they made some of the jobs easy.
Thought some of you may want to do the same.

The timing chain tentioner clip is well worth the time to make makes the job a lot easyer when reassembly time comes . I broke the lug on the plunger trying to refit without the clip, I was lucky I had a spare . Thats when I made the clip up.
