Permit is an option, not sure what they cost these days.
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice re RWC and these former rust holes.
I fully intend to have it repaired but would prefer to drive it to the repair shop.
Might look into a mobile welding service too.
Thanks

$31.30 plus insurance per day.

The floor panel would be considered superficial - you could silicone it up temporarily. The section on the A pillar would likely be considered structural and need to be fixed for RWC.
Permit is the best option. Take out a proper insurance policy first though.
Thanks all.
I think the permit in QLD includes the CTP for the term of the permit from memory.
Looks like I'll need to get it fixed before RWC
Concur with weeds.
Cost me $86 ish each way for defender day out.
Note it is for a calender day NOT 24 hours.
Cheers, BDave.
