There is another late 2a grill different to all of those - I've got one at home and I saw another the same on a 2a shorty today.

I quite like the Series3 Grilleeven got a brand new one tucked away ready to fit !!
Even the defender looks okay with it![]()
There are grilles for sale on eBay.
Hello from Darwin.
That grille in the photo may be on a 6 cylinder truck, but it was common to both Australian built 4 and 6 cylinder trucks of that vintage (about 1967 on to the introduction of the headlights in the guards). The differentiation applied to the presence or absence of the "six" badge on it when new.
The same bar pattern and presence/absence of the badge, but with a different shape, carried through to the later models until the S3 arrived with the plastic grille.
Cheers,
Neil
