This is 'Doris' the day we bought her. She was a daily drive for about three years. She's been sitting for a few years now while we decide her fate. She isn't going to die, but there are some ideas, not least being the 100 inch thing on the RRC that I have as well. Or maybe she should soldier on as she is.

    Here's my 1979 series 3 GS

I'm going to continue to tinker on it through winter to have it ready for when the High Country tracks reopen cup weekend.

My (now gone) Stage 1 and S3 hardtop.

    Stage 1 and S3 hardtop.jpg

The hardtop has a blue motor, power steer, twin tanks, different seats, Rocky Mountain windows and quite a few other subtle mods (mostly done by the PO). I bought it a few years ago from Newcastle and drove it home to Bundy. About 14 hours in the saddle but enjoyed the hell of the drive. The Stage 1 was got as a donor for the 3.54 diffs and has since been sold on.

I dig some more out later
