Part out vehicles (IIa and III)

    G'day all,
I have noticed a Series IIa and III on eBay for sale but unfortunately I am unable to house them at my house due to renting and space restrictions.

I'm wanting to get some parts of them like rims and rear tub for starters but I will need to pass on the rest.

Is anyone wanting to salvage some parts (I haven't seen them in person but by the photos I'd say they are about 50% complete each). I was thinking of teeing up with someone or more, so I don't have the vehicles at my house long.

Let me know if you're interested, I live in Endeavour Hills.

    Thanks
    Nathan

    Nathan,

I might be interested but I guess it depends on what's available after you get the parts you need.
I'm after a diff centre, a radiator and there are probably more parts I'd be interested in for spares like a gearbox.

I have enough room to store another one but divorce proceedings may start. Mind you I parted out a LWB wagon last year and because I got my money back and everything left the property (except for a few bits squirreled away) she was OK'ish about it.

As Chris said, Chops may also be interested.

If you want to PM a link to the vehicle you're looking at and details of what's going to be available I'll let you know if I'm interested.

You yourself could be interested too young man.

Hmm,, not sure if I'd be thought of too well either if I bought another home
Having said that, like Colin, a bit more info on what would be left over might be handy. And of course, there's always a good reason for a visit. Would there be beater bits on them at all? And there might be just one or two other bits I could use, maybe the passengers inner guard,, any of the motor ancillaries left? Any left hand tanks there?

    Cheers Marcus.

I sent the chap a message and haven't heard anything back yet but as soon as I hear from him I'll PM you both to inform you of any more information. I'm hoping to get them for mainly rear body panels and rims. I'm wanting to get rid of my 31x10.5 wheels and put on some narrower ones and turn my tray back ute into a tub ute.

Thanks for the interest I hope to get back to you soon.

    Nathan.
