Thread: Looking for this 2A - assistance appreciated

Hi all

I am trying to see if this vehicle is still around. I would like to buy it back.

I sold it back in 1984(ish) to a guy who from memory had 7 or 8 others (already a disease back then) but unfortunately I have no other details than this photo (taken at Mt Panorama) that year. The paperwork has disappears over the years.

I have contacted the local RMS office and they said if I can take the photo in they should be able to search the rego number (wont do it over the phone) and get the chassis/engine numbers assuming it is still in the system. And from there will be able to confirm or not if it is still registered (but cant give me any of the owners details obviously).

If it is still on the road it may be on historic plates or interstate.

I would be grateful of any assistance or guidance/suggestions.

Yup, NSW. I have search the rego online but comes up invalid.
