    Day Trips

    Hi,
    With Gilbert now registered and going OK, any LR clubs who do day trips around Northern NSW, SE Qld, I could maybe join.
    Nissan owner at servo asked 'how much lift in the old Land Rover. STD I replied. He walked away confused or surprised.
    Joke in that somewhere, did you hear the one about the.....................

    Hello from Brisbane.

    SLOW has been/still is a bit active in the region. Specifically oriented to the leaf sprung trucks.

    Check the club’s section on this forum.

    Also, if you don’t plan to drive Gilbert all day and every day, and it isn’t too heavily modified, club membership should qualify you for historic vehicle registration at a discounted rate. There are rules and limits to that registration, but it seems to work for most folks.

    Can join Murwillumbah Historic Car Club, and get Club Rego.
