    Hardtop to tub seal

    Hi everyone,

    The seal between my tub and hardtop is stuffed, so I am looking for a new one.

    I have a 109 two door, i.e. not a station wagon. I can only seem to find part number 333487 for station wagons, which would be too short for me.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction for this seal ? Or does anyone know the part number ?

    I'm not sure anyone makes the correct profile, just use a rectangular section sponge rubber seal from Clark Rubber or similar supplier.

    I did source in bulk some years back, I'll have to look for the profiles size.

    Thanks Gromit, but I noticed the proper seal is not just a rectangular profile, see : Land Rover Hard Top Body Side Lower Seal 333487

    On my top, there's definitely a metal lip to hold the seal on without glue if I use the correct profile rubber.

    Did you just glue it on and ignore the lip ??

    The lip is a nice feature (and correct).
    I found that you could tuck the rectangular section under the metal lip in the sidepanel using a screwdriver, no glue needed. It only needs to hold in position while you bolt the sidepanel down.

    I'll see if I have any photos.

    Try Bunnings I bought some rubber strip from there for fitting my truck cab upper window section to bottom bit. Comes in rolls in the section where they sell rubber extrusions, they also sell door seal rubber
