So the pintle is rated to 5000kg
This doesn't change the rating of the tow bar it inserted into, or the rating of the car.
That the pintle is rated to 5000kg makes sense, once you go over 3500kg you need to move away from a 50mm ball, a pintle or 70mm ball, or most likely other options.
My Defender and it's Hayman Reece tow bar are rated to 4000kg, but a 50mm ball is limited to 3500.
Surely the only reason for using a pintle is that you have a No. 5 trailer 😎
