Osram is a quality brand, hopefully yours aren't counterfeits.
Just took delivery of some Chinese incandescent H8's for the Territory spotlights.
They are Osram branded and much cheaper than buying local. I have to fit one at the weekend, I'll make a note and see how it lasts.

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Most of the big brands are 'made in China'.
As mentioned earlier in this thread, I'm working on the basis that the sell price in China would be much lower than in Australia and someone there is buying and reselling.
From Google AI.....
Car light bulbs, particularly LED and incandescent types, are primarily manufactured in China, which dominates the global market for light bulbs and fittings. Other manufacturing locations include Germany for some OSRAM products and potentially Korea for certain OSRAM Sylvania bulbs, but the bulk of production for most brands and types is located in China, with key hubs in regions like Guangdong Province
It would cost a huge amount of money to set up a factory to manufacture globes so I'm reasonably confident they are genuine.....
Time will tell.
