    Smile Clutch Slave Cylinder Piston

Years ago pistons in brake cylinders etc. were chrome plated, nowadays they are just chemically blacked.

I found a Series III slave cylinder amongst some parts I purchased with the piston rusted, it took some effort to get it out.
I was going to de-rust, cover with rubber grease and re-assemble with a new seal, then an idea......
I took it to work and a colleague made a couple in stainless steel, he used 303 because it was available (pneumatic cylinder piston rod).

The program is stored so I can get more made if needed
