Reproduction series body parts ex Thailand

I can’t see any detail on the composition of the base metal the panels are made of, whether steel or aluminium. You’d have to check yourself before proceeding. The photos look good though.

They mention aluminium when you look at the individual parts.

$1,800 for a pair of Series I 86" wings plus freight.
No wonder people are talking about Patina Resto's although 'patina' and 'restoration' is an oxymoron.

Mind you if it was an insurance job it's great that repro panels are being made.

I have been to the "factory" and I can assure you that the panels are aluminium. Exactly what grade it is I don't know. Any ferrous metal parts are probably mild steel, such as the cap rails, braces under the tub and of course the firewall.

    Their FAQ says

What are the aluminum specifications you are using?
We are using aluminum AA1100. However, we also offer a premium option in 5052 aluminum, where the incremental raw material cost will be factored into your order. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
