    Uki Trip

A quick thanks to Tim & Harry for organising todays trip.
These guys took the time to research this area, and put something different together for all the experience.
    Good job !!!
Had a great day and relaxing leisurly drive.
Certainly worth looking at a few more day trips, within reasonable
distance from Brisbane & the Gold Coast.
    Cheers Dave

Glad you blokes had fun and it seems from early reports that everyone enjoyed themselves. Whilts you were all out wheeling I was dismantling the fuel tank from the bullet in-between watching the footy as well as having a few coldies to help with the 'dismantling'

    The Cheeky Report

We are not very clever but we have some pictures

So we arrived at the BP Chinderah early, cause Henry was on a promise to get McDonalds, he likes that Scottish food for breakfast.
Slowly but surely the Rover’s arrived, till the parking lot was almost full of Rovers

Convoy to Uki was very impressive to be part of, finally arriving at the pub.

After meeting our guide it was off to the tracks

With the sighting of some snakes, at the next stop there was a lot of standing on Rovers

Or just plain staying in Rovers

After lunch we headed into some more challenging tracks, steep and slippery

    Opps

At least he can still smile about it

    Nice parking

Cheeky then discovered a new species, if you look closely in the bush you night see it.

After all that fun we found a fun hill, check out these rascals

    You tube (on the way)

    This RRC even starts fires

Thanks Tim and Harry, great trip

Thanks Tim and Harry for organizing - thanks to Brian for work in clearing the tracks and thanks to his wife for some great scones, jam and cream!

By the way Brian said there were a heap of tracks like the last one with rocks and some fun gully stuff in that last area BUT they needed cutting. I suggested that he talk to the club about us putting together a working party with brush cutters and we help clear - then come and use the tracks.

He said good idea and would talk to Tim about that for later in the year.

Also does anyone have more pics of that final hill climb?
