Never mind I have had it confirmed 1012kg payload on the "Boost" models.

Now to convince the CFO to let me have one as a company car

work on 750KG for the stock models and the full ton for the boosts.

the 826KG is for more or less the stripped out version.. ford got very toyota when they started doing the payloads.

    Hi all,

I'm new to the forum as I am looking at taking a novated lease on a Defender 110 5 seat wagon. I've also been having some issues around this as my employer won't allow me to lease a vehicle with a greater than 1 tonne payload and they are claiming 1078kg.

As this would be my daily driver to work (from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane) as well as my weekend escape, can anyone let me know whether there are any reliability issues to be aware of with the current 2011 2.4.

    Many thanks

    what do you weigh..

just tell them that the availalbe payload includes the weight of the driver.

if your a 9lb weakling you're in trouble and need to stack on the maccas till you weigh more than 78KG.

    OR

add some sill water tanks, fill them up and then got get the vehicle tare weighed and take the reciept to them.

I found this was a slight problem last year with a 110 SW, it states up 1000kg, and the wagon is over that, i argued the case with Remserve who deal with packaging with Q health and they agreed they would allow it, as it was a station wagon, and not a pick-up....
