    Exhaust pipe identification.

    Can someone identify this engine pipe for me? I know it's not off a series1.

    Looks like it's off a diesel with side exit manifold..

    I thought diesels had 3hole flanges ?

    Later ones had 3 hole down manifold . Early er ones had that type..

    Most probably. intermediate pipes are different.......

    It could either fit a diesel or a six-cylinder, I think. The obvious benefit seems to be that, because it swings back in between the chassis rails, you could have a fuel tank under the passenger seat, but you may still be limited to a 10gallon tank. A good find I reckon.

    The early and late series diesel manifolds
    The six cyl has the 3 bolt flange at the engine..
