    Low Coolant Displayed

Hi has anyone had this come up on the display of a TDV6 it says
COOLANT LEVEL LOW. when I looked at the coolant it was at the
    full mark.
If you loosen the cap on the bottle the warning goes away for about
10 to 20 kilometers then comes on again.
The dealer said that the coolant bottle will need replacing as the
    sensor is inside the bottle.

Same problem as in a '86 RRC, except with progress they make repair harder. The float is porous and sinks after being under pressure for a while. If you can figure out how to replace the float switch you might save a penny or two.
