    Gopro HD Hero 2

Mine arrived today along with a bull bar mount. Anyone got any tips and tricks for these? From a few quick tests I'm really amazed at the quality that can come out of such a small package.

    Here's the promo video.

i've had a HD Hero (not the 2) for a while and love it!
Weather its riding the pushy or using it in the rangie its been a great purchase!

    Recommendations:
    more then 1 battery
def get 32gig card (they fill up quick!)
    USB charger
tripod mount is cheap and handy to use for static filming
if using the suction cup mount on windows / panels make sure they're clean first.

I didn;t get the LCD screen backpac on mine but a few goes and you know where to place it for the best shot.

The HD HERO2 PROFESSIONAL is a very interesting camera for remote shooting of birds and wild life.

Ive got the Contour+. As you say excellent bits of kit for the size.

One critisism of mine - it records the gps location and embeds it into the avi file. The contour software shows a scrolling google map in a window alongside the film... But the Mac wont see the gps stream...Grrrrr.
