    Can u add extra 2 seats to a 5 seater 110?

Can you add the forward facing folding seats (currently from a wrecked 7 seater) into a 5 seater?

By that I mean how much work is it?
Had some interesting conversations about this and one guy reckon I would need to take off the roof & building new structural points b/c every LR is built differently by hand etc.. & the whole exercise would be ridiculous in cost..

I just couldn't imagine every 5 seater 110 & 110 7 seater are not structurally identical but that a 7 seater has just had the seats bolted in. thoughts?

In Vic, you would be able to add extra seats without an engineering certificate, if you could prove it was factory fitted at some point. The guy here said a brochure or owners manual would do.
If what you want to do, is a one off, I would say you will need an engineerind certificate, unless you can convince them the latest model ( which has them) is essentially the same vehicle - shouldn,t be that hard..
Have you looked over the wreck?

But Do you think the structure of the bodies are different?

Is obtaining an engineers certificate expensive ?$, and difficult?

The seats have been sold but even if they were new, how hard
    1. To do it ? ( I was thinking not too difficult)
    2. Making it legal. As you mentioned things will get sticky and blurred. I read on other posts that the insurance is void if not registered as a 7 seater then
