    Safari water injector

Yesterday, while changing my air filter element, for the first time since the warranty on the Puma ran out, I noticed the air pipe to the air box was not sealed. I had a Safari snorkel fitted when I first bought the vehicle by a well-known off-road company and assumed all to be good. Wrong!!! Little or no sealant was used at all in its fitment. I think I have been lucky that we have not done any deep crossings as it would have been good bye engine. I am told this is not that uncommon so it may be worth a look. It’s not a nice job either.

I the sealed the internal pipework on my Puma on Friday. I agree that it is "It’s not a nice job". There was not much room to get the pipes appart and my hand in there.

Still have to seal the hole in the bottom of the air box and where it connects to the body.

I ended up making a flexible plastic hose with a cut down nozzle super glued in and atached to the gun so I could get into the top and bottom of both ends of the pipe. Not a job I want to do again.
