hey guys, does anyone know if the military springs in a series 2a are standard height or raised, or is the difference in height only from the military shackles. thanks heaps guys

Pretty sure the height comes primarily from the shackles.

Although the heavy rating of the springs would keep them sitting up too.

The extra height comes from the shackles and extended spring hangers.

The front springs are (should be) standard 109" 11-leaf fronts.

The rear springs should be "heavy duty" 8-leaf springs (7.1 mm thick leaves).

You will get a lot of extra wheel travel if you remove 2-leaves from each pack. Search for my threads on modifying springs.
