    Middle Radiator Hose

    Hi All,
    Restoring 1961 Series 2 - 4cyl.
Is there a trick to replacing the middle radiator hose?
I have a replacement one, but I can't fit it at either end - because it is so tight?
Should I boil some hot water, let it sit in the hot water for a while? Would that make the rubber easier to manipulate?
    Any tricks?
As always - any advice is greatly appreciated!
    Regards,

Middle? If you mean the thermostat bypass hose, taking the thermostat housing off will help.

For any radiator hose, make sure the stub you are trying to put it on is clean, and soapy water helps. If very cold, soak the hose in hot water for ten minutes, but should not be necessary.
