    2" Lift Kit

    Gents,

Got a 2" lift kit from a friend of mine who went to 3".

    Set comprises:

Bilstein shocks - custom shocks, variably valved and custom damped. Harder on tar than standard, but softer than standard off road. They are also longer than standard, to match the springs.

Rear: Progressive OME 762 (medium duty)

Front: Progressive OME 761 (medium duty) + spacers (these are for a Disco1, only give 25mm lift)

Initial feedback after driving from the workshop back home and to work this working: much better road holding. While the setup is slightly harder than LR setup, it's not bone-jarring. And with the Bilsteins, you don't keep bounding after going over speed bumps - there are many on my daily commute.

Will have to try them offroad soon!

    Naks,

What gear do you have hanging of the front, i.e Bbar, winch and cable type, brush bars.
Can I ask you what distance you have between diff and bump stops on the front nowdays.

I have a Frontrunner bullbar, but no winch.

I will have to measure that when I get home this evening.
