    Smile $200 Reward

    Hi Fellow Land Rovians

To celebrate publishing our facebook page and we want you to be our facebook or AULRO friend.

Go to: APT Fabrication for Land Rover parts and Follow the link in the bottom right hand corner

Anyone who befriends us on Facebook and/or AULRO between now and midnight 2
April 2012 goes into the draw for a $200 store refund.

On the 3 April we will announce the winner on Facebook and AULRO. You will have until 30 June 2012 to make your purchase.

This is an honest offer, the Minister for War and Finance has provided a budget.

    Here is how it works:
First, you befriend us on facebook or AULRO. Second, we make the draw (3 April 2012) and publish the results. Third, we make contact and exchange details. Fourth, you make your next online purchase greater than $200. Fourth, on the same day we send the goods (or you collect them if you are in Brisbane) we will issue you a $200 refund.

So you will pay the full online price and when the transaction is complete and verified (i’s dotted and t’s crossed) we will issue you a $200 refund on the day we dispatch the goods. We dispatch within three days of receiving the order.

    The fine print
This is a genuine offer to get as many genuine individual facebook and AULRO friends as possible. We are very reasonable people and will definitely issue a $200 refund (and it will definitely NOT be to ourselves or anything dodgy) but if there is anything unusual done (I am not savvy enough to imagine some of possible dodgy moves that could possibly be made) we reserve the right to not issue a refund and make a new draw.

    Feel free to ask questions

    Cheers

    Ben

    Ben,
Are you able to fabricate custom parts?
With a series or 101 vehicles this would usually involve folded welded drilled flat sheet.

    Hi Mick
Custom fabrication is what we do mostly. We can work with your designs or we can provide designs also. You can pm me on the forum, email me at sales@aptfabrication.com.au or phone on (07) 3162 0690. If you would like to see some of the work we do, check out our gallery APT Fabrication for Land Rover parts
    Cheers

Nice looking fabrication! I'll have to drop you guys a line in the future about some stuff I'm thinking of for my Defender.

Dont mention series parts/fabrication... yet show some photos of some in your background..

as most of the series share common parts/sizes over massive ranges of years it may be worth while.. especially things like footwells for example..

Good luck with your venture , your site looks great!

    cheers

Thanks Folks for the feedback. We are pretty happy with how things are going and have got some really good support re manufacturing Land Rover parts in Australia. We’ve had queries on the progress of the 2nd generation TDi upgrade. It has FINALLY been on the dyno. I will post the recorded results later (right now I have to get the Def ready for next weekends 4*4 show @ RNA showground). In the mean time...

In a fourth gear load test - ratio of 1:1 - our Defender’s peak power was 132 hp and the peak torque was 495 ft/lb.

In a third gear load test we reached a staggering 900 ft/lb of torque.

Both of these results were achieved with the standard factory intercooler, no fuel pump modifications, and an APT Fabrication custom 3” exhaust.

    cheers

    Hi all

Thanks for the great response to the facebook / aulro competition. We decided to introduce a second place of $100 refund as well, this went to Digger on AULRO. Digger we have sent you a PM. The $200 first place prize was won by Matthew Duncan who liked us on Facebook.

    Cheers again

    Ben
