    110 Wagon -> Ute Conversion.

    Hi all!
I want to convert my '92 110 wagon to a Ute. Does anyone know if a Series model Roof will do it?

    Cheers,
    Goots

No joy different over the windscreen. Series are flat across the top of the screen. Unless you want to replace your windscreen with a split series wind screen.

Hmm ok then, but if I did replace the windscreen I'd be right hey? I presume this isn't advised and theres an easier way... Are those windscreen hard to come by? I guess I might ask that in a Series section!

the most straightforward method would be to use a 110 ute roof and rear window panel, and rear lower panel, although a series rear window panel (with the door stop recesses) would do...

you could probably use a series ute roof with a series windscreen - but you could have some fun rearranging the wipers

I'd think it best to keep the 110 windscreen and get a 110 ute cab roof - they are around

your existing "B" pillars won't be of much use - both the series and the 110 ute door stop recess (in effect replacing the "B" pillar) is comprised of the fronts of both the upper and lower ute rear panels...

(sell your 110 "B" pillars & rear doors to me to offset your costs )

and where is your fuel tank filler ? - a series ute rear lower panel will have a fuel filler hole on the driver's side whereas a 110 won't

    I've done the reverse
The two rear panels are easy to find on eBay (ATM)
The roof is rare and expensive
Hobo (?) in Adelaide has fiberglass replacements but I'm not sure how much work they need
Use defender pillars as county are different
    (striker location)
Ever considered hcpu or full body ute?
    They look the goods
I used to have a tray andneeded
to tub it for 255/85/16 tyres to fully articulate or
the tray was going to be way to high and lift the
    COG unreasonably
I would consider a extra cab telstra style as well
Just chop a full length roof down
    Dc

    Ok,
Its my brothers 110, 2 door so sorry I cant sell the back doors! He wants to cut it down and i got alotta series utes here so was wondering it it'd work.
Just in research stages then we'll start getting the gear together, would the dual cab chop be easier? I suppose a DC chop might be pointless if he doesnt already have back seats.

    Cheers,

    PS whats HPCU/Full body ute?
