    Lucas Wiper Motor

    Hi All,

I purchased a second hand Lucas wiper motor to go on my Series 2.

It is the same as the wiper motor on the car, except for one thing - there is something on the front of the motor that isn't on my existing motor.

    Q: What is it?
    Q: What does it do?
    Q: Do I need it?
Q: How come the other Lucas doesn't have it?

Thanks very much (as always) for any advice!

    Regards,
    The Grey Ghost
