    Dynamo bracket for Series 2

I'm trying to work out the correct dynamo bracket for my Series 2.
Grey Ghost has sent some pictures and I've looked in the parts manual (plus Wrinklearthur has looked for a bracket for me) but it's not clear exactly how the dynamo mounts. All I have is a bracket for an alternator.

I've located a reasonably priced dynamo, not the right one but it'll do for the moment, I just need to mount it. Either that or get some Brammer belting so I can get the water pump turning while I drive the S2 around the property....

Is this for a 2.25p? If so i can take photos tomorrow and draw a rough sketch if that'd help?

    Mark,

    That would be a big help, it's a 2.25p.
I can then make a bracket to mount it temporarily until I can locate an original one.

    Hi Colin,
Here's some pics, hope they help. Let me know if you need a sketch or more photos of a particular detail, but I might not have the car in my custody soon due to it visiting a workshop.

    Mark,

Many thanks, as they say "a picture says a thousand words".

I can now work out how it was mounted and make up some brackets. All I started with is the cast bracket for mounting an alternator, I can now put this aside and make up something more suited to a dynamo.

    Thanks,

    Colin
