    Question. Look at the list

    G'day.
In the list below it has the 110 hardtop listed with both 2.2 and 2.4 engine.
    Same for the 130, 2.2 and 2.4 !!!
Does that mean that we have an option on which size engine to have installed when buying new ?
Havent seen any mention of this on the LRA website and LRA dont answer emails.
    Am I missing something ?

    Ta.

The MY 12 Defender comes with a Euro 5 compliant 2.2. It produces the same power and torque as the old 2.4. I think they are almost the same motor.

I think the list just covers the changeover from 2.4 to 2.2, and hence includes both, at least until all old stock is sold.

yep, while fords running out unwanted old stock transit engines the deefer gets the 2.4 when they run out at the plant you get the 2.2.

the official changeover date from memory was ment to be EOF 10/11

Spot on John, hence the 2.4 being slightly cheaper as it's last years model.
