"Tires" don't fit in Australia but "tyres" do

265-75-16s will fit fine on Defender alloys...

    And just a friendly hint...

We're in Oz mate... They're Tyres

After all, your 'fender isn't made of "AL-Oooooh-Min-Um"

Potatos or Potatoes, I’m only interested if they fit not a grammar lesson, but thanks anyway.
So I guess there shouldn’t be any problems with the rolling diameter being that the 235/75r16 are aprox 747mm OD & 265/75r 16 are aprox 808mm OD they should still fit in the guard. I’m also guessing that the Speedo will be out at the same time, can it be fixed via the ECU like other 4X4 brands.
Im also guessing it will labour a little being a bigger diamiter .

Spelling lesson actually Your grammar is quite good

Firstly, the rolling diameter difference is negligible...
    You have your sizings wrong
    235-85-16 is 806mm
    265-75-16 is 804mm

Secondly, the speedo is already out! A 255-85-16 sorts it

And no it wont labour... But is likely to use a little more fuel as wider tyres= more drag...

And most vehicle brands ??? and Speedo adjustable calibration via ECU. Not many.....

If you know so much about all these other vehicles, how can it be you know so little about this one

Ok your right just noticd the "tyres" are 85's, so shouldn't be a pronlem there .

As for the ECU my F250 being an 05 model and cruiser both have been calibrated via thr ECU , just asuming that most are done in the same way. But thanks for your help , Its like a big jigsaw coming together .
