    Bluetooth audio and android

I have a Samsung galaxy s3 and have successfully connected the high line audio to the phone. I can make calls from the stereo etc but the thing I am having trouble with is using the phone to play music via the Bluetooth.
I go to mymusic/Bluetooth and the car can see the phone but whenever I try connect it says 'audio device connection failed'
Has anybody else had this problem or know how I can go about connecting it?

One thing you can try is disconnecting the phone, from memory it's Phone, Change Device, Disconnect. Then connect it under the music menu, My Music, Bluetooth, Search etc. The system allows different Bluetooth devices to be connected to the phone and the audio concurrently.

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately that was the first thing that I tried.
Seems the d4 won't read the s3 when attached as a MTP media device. Does anybody know what the USB port does read? Mass storage only?

Just thinking out loud.... Would it make a difference where the music is located on the phone? Ie internal memory or sd card

Have you set the phones setting to audio capable when the bluetooth connects?
There is a box that requires to be ticked in order to send out the audio files

Now, now, I specifically refrained from commenting about Iphone problems with phone and contact book issues earlier this year when my android was working perfectly first time.

I haven't had any issues at all with my iPhone linking up or phone book or anything similar to that seems weird.
