    body gaskets/seals

    heeello landy bretherin

    close cell sticky back/non sticky foam as a gasket...
    say between the turrent and top of window frames etc
    thats dust water and wind proof ,uv stable...
    is there product /type that is true and tested ?
    iva bortta roll of material to do my brake pedal box to fire wall seal
    fort idda ask before i installs vis product...

    There's a closed cell foam (possible Neoprene) sticky/non-sticky from Clark Rubber. Available in a variety of widths.
    Looks very similar to the stuff I got from Paddocks.

    Sounds a bit 'hi-tech', I used rubber from an old inner tube to make the pedal box gaskets.

    The self adhesive foam will probably be a bit less fiddly to install though......

    that materials sounds very similar to the product i borts
    pvc/nit 6mm x 24mm x 12m is on the receipt

    Gromit ...
    thats sounds like the materials idda like to use ...
    bang ups for a bit of recyclein meself
    good thing about the roll of foam i fort ..
    was u can install it in continous runs no little gaps..
    only got motor bike tubes

    was wantin to lift the turrent and replace the seal
    also between the body panels where required
    dont want to do it twice cause of wrong materials used

    I sell rolls of 50mmx2mm (30'roll) sticky back foam tape vif you need some, I'll take a pic tomorrow and put it up as this bloody home computator is ted's brother for uploading.

    Ere ya go. I used it on Smeg between the tub and the roof, works a treat. $15.00 for a 30' roll if it suits you.
