RRS Diesel filler flap stuck shut

The missus has just phoned to say she cant get the fuel flap open. RRS 06

Im assured she turned off the ignition switch and it appears the lockout wont release.

Any suggestions I can pass on?

Check she hasn't locked the car when she has got out to fill up, had the same drama early on with my D4 till I realised I had locked the car.

Problem solved

Got her to cycle the locks few times and it popped open!

Told her to leave it open till she can refuell

Could not open mine on a D3 the other day, eventually drove around to dealer when I got there it was swinging open.
First time I have fueled up or at least tried to, without her sitting in the car, must have locked it when I stepped out.

Tricky little sucker ! Good idea though once you have learnt about it !
