    air filters and breathers

i finally have a s1 air filter but no breather. Does anyone know where i could get one of these?
or does someone know if anyone is making reproductions?
or will a breather of another air filter fit, eg. a massey ferguson.?

Not quite sure what you are after - do you mean the precleaner fitted to 80" Series 1? or do you mean the crankcase breathers?

I think you will find them stocked alongside hen's teeth. They were almost certainly fitted to small tractors about the same vintage, but this probably does not help. Best bet is probably ebay, swap meets, clearing sales etc.

    Air Cleaners

I found a good 1955 air cleaner yesterday that I had stacked up in the loft 30 years ago!

It's the type with the flutes around it's top and all I need now for 'HECter' is the hose between the air cleaner and the carby.

With all the air they can clean do we now qualify for carbon credits?
