    Front or rear? the DBA site shows 70mm height for the front and 60 mm for the rear (59mm for the 298mm dia disc or 61mm for the 290mm dia disc).

    A '96 model should be, according to DBA, 290mm dia, 61mm high for the rear. Front should be 300mm dia, 71mm high.

    Did you get rears and not fronts?

    Did you buy front or rear? Sounds like rears.

    Check the OD of the disc (accurately).

    what is the part number you were sent? they could've sent you rear discs for a disco, or rear discs for an ABS defender.

    1994 through to 1998/9 use the front discs for d1 on the rear. td5 (abs/non abs) models 99 on to current used a different disc, it has similar height dimensions to disco rear, but is thicker.

    According to the DBA catalogue, 60mm (approx) is correct for a Defender rear.

    should be dba087, or dba549 for later abs etc. Both solid.

    fronts are DBA086, vented,1994 to 2012

    Edit, Ron the DBA catalogue is totally all over the show, it is showing rear range rover classic discs for the front of a puma 130 :P I'd pay little attention to it...

    I suggest we somehow warn AULRO users how inaccurate that DBA catalogue is....

    I found heaps more errors going through the landie section

    The real truth is;

    Disco 1 and early RRC front solid disc DBA 087, rear DBA 088 (This includes ABS models)
    Later RRC with vented discs, DBA 086 front, DBA 088 rear (This includes ABS models)
    Defender with vented front discs, up till present Puma DBA 086, rear DBA549. (This includes ABS models)
    County front solid discs, DBA087
