Hi BenD4,
Good luck with the delivery. I have only just ordered and mine will not arrive till early May, so I am very envious of your imminent delivery. Hope all goes well for you.
Hi all,
Anyone got their MY13 D4 yet?
I get updated every few weeks via Private Fleet's website. Yesterdays update has my car arriving at the dealership tomorrow with delivery the same day. I'm assuming delivery will be a few days after they receive it but it's so close I can almost smell that new car smell.

Mines about 2 weeks away cant wait.
Did LR delay the start of the new year models? They used to start building the next years models in about August - so I would have expected some MY13s to be here already.
Eg. My previous D3 was a MY07, built in Sept 2006 - delivered on 29/12/2006.
Thursday, Can't wait.
Hi Jonesy,
No delay, but you have to realise there will be a batch of 13MY vehicles that will still have the conventional 6 speed stick gearshift. These were not held up at all & proceeded into the country as per usual.
The new 8 speed 13MY vehicles they did not arrive until late (read last week of) 2012.
I think these will be designated 13.5MY vehicles, not that the owner will know any difference. Its a LR thing
Interesting Sniegy, Ive been confused about this. My 6speed D4 arrived in Australia in late November and I have assumed it was a 2012 runnout model. Is there a place I can check the the VIN against build date/model year.
As you say it's all moot, but I'd be interested to know.
In the VIN it will read Eg: SALLAAAF3 D A123456
The D tells you it is a 13MY, if you have a C in this position then it's a 12MY.
Regardless when the vehicle is built, the VIN determines model year ;-)
Cheers

						Hi there
Most of the new cars arriving by boat these days have their pre-delivery and detail done at the centre on the holding area here at Port Kembla,i have friends who work there and they say it's the best way to get a good look at the newies B4 anybody else,so yours will most likely come to the dealer ready to go.
best of luck with the new one
Paul.
