    i-Kube portable solar generators

Though this might be of interest to someone.

My brother-in-law's business has just started importing the i-Kube portable solar generator from Europe. I don't have much more information that what is available on the company website:

iKube Portable Solar Generators Australia - HOME

The site seems to be in a state of flux at the moment, so probably best getting in touch with them by email for details.

    cheers

Seems to be overlarge at 1 cubic metre, where would you store it in your trailer or back of vehicle, Regards Frank.

    Frank,

I do agree it's going to be too large for single vehicle camping usage. But then I don't know too many campers that would need a 9m^2 array that puts out 1.4kW @ 48V to power their fridge and camping lights.

It is apparently very effective as a portable generator. One was used at the recent Rainbow Serpent Festival to power site lighting over the 4-5 days the event ran, where in the past a petrol generator had been used.

    cheers
    Paul
