Has someone replaced a convex mirror with a flat one?
Hi Together,
Just realized that the way the site mirrors show the blind spot on both of my D3's are quite different, the HSE mirror has a huge blind spot so I nearly took out the car next to me, being used to the D3 S which seems to have a much, much small blind spot.
Are there different type of mirrors? I would have thought that a car how can light around the corner in curves and has all the bells and whistles would not have a huge blind spot in it's mirrors.
Regards
Steve
Has someone replaced a convex mirror with a flat one?

I'd say someone replaced it ... I replaced my d3 side mirror once and the parts department gave me the option of the default wider angle or a flat one... I thought I'd prefer the one that doesn't distort the view but I found I was very wrong... cost me more again to go back to the convex/concave version..
So yeah I suspect it's just that too
You could think back to your L's...
And turn your neck![]()
Only motorcyclists turn their neck. Car drivers don't need to look.

Why do you need to look back to your Ls, you should have never forgot it and should be still doing it
An old driving instructor once told me, when he had a student, he would say to them when they were doing their driving test "this will be the best you'll ever drive"
