    Some drivers...

Brand new 110. Wife parked at side of road to adjust one of the kids seatbelts. White van drove into the side. Then after a bit of wheelspin to disconnect, just drove off. Got his rego, but known to police. This ***** did not even look to find out if the kids were ok.

I feel for you! I bought a brand new car when i was at uni (wasn't as flash as yours but brand new all the same) with only 1300km on the clock I got rear-ended by some FOOL! It sucks big time when some other tosser goes and busts your pride and joy.

Some people don't deserve a license!

Hope your insurance covers it all.

I had an idiot fly past me in a school zone today, he would have been doing at least 70kms so I tooted as he roared past and got the finger for my trouble! It was at that moment that I took notice of his number plate and also noticed the green "P" plate on the back window, so while I waited for my daughter class to come out I phoned the coppers and gave this info to them. Probably wouldn't have if he hadn't given me the finger but I am sick of these idiots flying through school zones, if they hit a kid at that speed they'll kill them.

.........oops, sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm sorry about what happened to your new landy but I'm glad your wife and kids are ok. I hope they get the moron that did this, he probably drives a wreck and doesn't care.

    Thanks!

Are there any good panel beaters who work on Defenders in the Melbourne region, I've got Corso Panels and Perfect Panels recommended to me by the dealer, and have been to them at various points with warranty work over the last few defenders. But if there was a better panel beater that would be good.

Unfortunately looks like the sidestep has pushed and rippled the chassis, and the bulkhead is now sitting off at a slight angle. Damn - and this one did not leak..... Bet it will now. But I wonder if they will write it off.

I did wonder about that, looking at the photo
Hopefully it's not a write off, and hopefully they catch the poxy cur of an oxygen thief who did it
Glad to hear your family are okay.
