    Bundaberg Swim In

my compliments to the Walker bros and the MJCQ for another excellent weekend in bundaberg.

Thanks to all the people that went out of their way to make the event the success it was.

Hard to beat a great weekend spent with friends and acquaintances at an activity such as that and to top it off dear old madge managed 16 mpg on the round trip which is not too bad at all considering the load

off to look for some pics i took at oakey a couple of years ago.. to the tune of buffalo rider.....

pics of the original "cyclone" engine in a buffalo for those with an interest.

Great weekend - those guys have some awesome toys.....thanks to the Walker family for allowing us to come along and thanks to the members and old friends who were there who made it a happy and memorable weekend. Kat and I really enjoyed it.

    Kat wants a Buffalo!

I had an aquatic ride in the beast...

    The noise this thing makes!

They even had a Burma (Jeep) railway....

If it's Sepo and it floats - it's there.....

A Jeep - with buoyancy tanks, propellor and rudder....

They even had something from the Empire (no, not Hutley .... )

The Banana Splits would have been proud....

This one even had a fish finder onboard....

    GPA controls...

Even the kids get in on the action - these baby Jeeps were driving around everywhere!

The coolest crane I've ever seen.... It really was a top weekend - we'll be back again I hope....

Finally got some photos up to the web. See here MJCQ Bundaberg Swim In 2013 album | TimJ | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy..

No attempt to sort or edit them, just loaded them up.

Had a great weekend, as Dan said there are some seriously fun toys there .

Have to admit I was pretty worn out by the time we got home after 5pm on Monday. It's not a lot of fun driving in the rain at the end of a long drive.

    Cheers,

    Tim.
