There's a long history & story behind this, and the owner comes across as a complete tosser.
He had some issues which weren't major, and Toyo were going to come to the party.
From what I know, he carried on so much, they told him to jam it.

They're usually parked outside Torque Toyota at Brendale, even though he bought them from Drinnans at Gympie, and Torque have nothing to do with it.

He takes them around other dealerships sometimes too.
He's got a facebook page, website, made formal complaints, legal demands, etc, and got nowhere.
Serious waste of time, money & energy.

seen this guy many times towing one cruiser with another. . . if It was that bad mate why did you buy another one?

never spoken to the guy but have read his little 'billboard' not sure what to make of it.

parking outside another dealership who had nothing to do with you is a bit mean if you ask me. .

    which is a Subaru. . .

My brother has a 'Toyota' GT86. . sound quality of the stereo was worse than my defender :| but a good car none the less (probably because it was built by Subaru. . . )

If a car is in fact a 'lemon' There are 'Lemon Laws' apparently to help the consumer in such a situation. don't know the details though.

That explains my confusion when I saw a Subaru recently, and couldn't help cut think it looked a lot like a Toyota 86!

Subaru call theirs the BRZ and charge more than Toyota do for the 86, in return you get slightly different badges and interior trim and from looking at it different wheels. . could be wrong though. . . it doesn't tickle my fancy at all

Lexus developed isn't it? along with the fuel injection system and from what I have read most peoples issues with the 86 are the only non Subaru parts. . that and how you are paying more for less car compared to a base model imprezer that you at least get AWD with
