    Dash obstructed by steering wheel

Being tall and needing the defer seat well back I find that the steering wheel blocks the view of the warning and indicator lights
Looking at putting a row of LED into the top edge of the dash surround to give a better and safer view
Any suggestions out there of other successful modifications.

I'm interested in this too cause I am looking at defenders and concerned I may not be able to see it that well either.

Maybe you can custom mount a nanocom. whenever you like on the dash and get all the reading you like to see from the (instrument panel mode) in the nanocom. also you can cusomize what you want to see/display for example road speed+turbo Boost+air flow . digital meter .

But it depends on what mode of your car is

I ran an extension wire up the A pillar with a blue LED on it for exactly that reason. Now I've got a blue high beam indicator at the top of that little narrow cover.

I'm 6'1,3/4"/187cm tall with the seat raised 22mm and don't have a problem viewing the dash, so it all depends on your height and probably more importantly your back length and how far back you have the seat.

The only way to know for sure is sit in one and see for yourself.

Change your steering wheel for one that better suits you, i fitted a small momo wheel that lets me see every thing except the clock and gives way more leg room under the wheel, remember you have power steering so the smaller wheel doesnt require extra turning effort

Most like the smaller wheels but I'm not a huge fan in a 4x4 (and I used small Momo's in race cars)

You'll want a flat spoke wheel, no dish at all and most boss's are too high IMO.

It's hard to get the right boss, a few are available from the UK but watch out for the freight charge

Putting a momo in mine made it so much more enjoyable to drive.
    definitely recommend it.
Got the boss off eBay from uk.
    Looks and feels great.

I have a 2013 Def 110 and am thinking of getting a SAAS steering wheel (350 mm) with boss kit from landrover tuning but I don't know if it is going stick further out.
    Any experience with this?
