    Go Via E tag placement

hey all, I have a Go Via E tag and need to attach it to my windscreen. Is the "normal car" location working on Defenders? That is, up in front of the rear vision mirror?

    Cheers

I'm pretty sure I've had one go off in the glovebox when attempting to bill to my etag instead of my parents. They're pretty sensitive.

    maybe mine is stuffed

brand new, as there are a couple of recommended locations, I held it in place(up in front of mirror) with my hand as I passed through the toll, nothing. On the return I placed it on the dash, centre of screen (l-r), no hands, nothing....

Nah the qld tags are useless. We have two defenders and the only way we have got them to work is to get a truck bracket which holds the tags at a different angle so they work on a vertical windscreen. Place them on the window just above the dash near the ashtray. You have to argue with the etoll mob to get them to send you the correct truck bracket but they eventually will give you one free if you persist.

Hi Trout , that is mighty nice of them to give you one free , so that they can collect tolls off you !!..

Was it attached to it's mounting bracket at the time? Mine has never worked if I take it out of the bracket (to use in a car without a tag).
