FFRs have the usual 12v engine/vehicle electrics but also have the extra 4 X 12v batteries and a large 28v alternator to provide radio power. I guess a lot of civ users will disconnect and remove the 24v system in these.
The "RFSV" was a limited production vehicle with a number of useful extras and accessories which made it quite an all-round offroader (probably one of the best). Many of those currently being offered for sale have been very well used in this role. This variant attracts auction bids at the higher end of the scale.
The fact that all the mil 110s have a gal chassis adapted to include under vehicle spare wheel carriage makes them much more useful long-term than a civ production vehicle of the same era.
If you do your research at the auction by looking at the maintenance records you may be able to get a rebuild with limited ks since rebuild on it.
