Dropper post - worth the money?

Who here has one? Is it worth the investment?

    Smile drop it !

I know of 3 people who had them, "had" being the word to take note of here….one of them had the latest whizz bang carbon turbo boost workings stuff, he took it off after 3 weeks i think.
Anyone going down to Tassie this week to ride in Wildside ? its my 5th this time around, more than likely the last 58 in a few weeks time and even training hurts… catchya

I've not got one myself, after years of riding with the saddle at the same height, regardless of terrain, I find it very odd when I do lower it. Perhaps I'm just not rad enough to be benefitting from an out of the way saddle

I have on on my new Jekyl, very good once you are used to them, make sure you get one with handle bar remote control, much easier to use,

I've been using a Giant dropper post now for about 9mths and love it. This is on a A29er riding in events like Bike Buller, and cross country trails around Keira-Bulli, Stromlo etc. It's just great to be able to drop the post down a little or a lot on descents and wack it back up for climbing. The great thing about the Giant post is that you can have infinite settings. 110_pete also has one - a specialised with three stop points. Seems to like it.

A mate has one, whenever he goes riding without he's always stopping to put the seat up or down.

Just ride it with your seat up ya pussy.
