You could drill it out? but you'd need to get a new barrel matched to your other locks then. I had to drill them out in a perentie but I was replacing all the barrels at the same time anyway.
pulled the lock mechanism off and went ohh wonder how you get the barrel out......
the web tell me to insert the key than push the plunger in and a wiggle or too and she comes out
I happen to have the broken part of the key so I push this in and push the plunger in and……………nothing, the barrel isn't keen on coming out. I than push the key in a little further....opps not sure I should have done that as I tried tapping the mech and now the Broken key is stuck. I have been able to rotate the barrel with a screw driver but this has stopped as well
Sooo how do I get the barrel out??
What happen if I grind the two spot welds off and separate the casing? Will I be able to get the barrel out??

I'm in the process of fitting new barrels.......if I drill out the barrel am I likely to damage the pin that holds the barrel in?? Or what ever retains the barrel??
Been through this myself. The reason for inserting the key is to allow the barrel to turn as there is a small foot. There is also a hole on the side . I'll be back soon with some pics of my old one.

Oh bother I've thrown it out. Anyway have a look for a small hole on the side of the housing. Can't recall if there was a grub screw to undo or I just used a wire to hold it in place. Also I recall pressing down and turning the key. I do remember think how easy it was once I had done it.

No damage when I did it ,you just want to drill the pins, then you can rotate the barrel and pull it out as above. Don't go deeper than the pins. I think I read a thread on here somewhere that had a guide of sorts.

I also read that you can wiggle the lock lever on the inside and you can line up the unlock button. Worth a shot first I reckon
