    County suspention

OK take a std country load leveler and all.
    add std defender rear springs.
add toymotor 60 series pattern front shocks and dislocation cones.

she walks over every thing really nice, on road is ok no sway bar and ADF donate shocks on the back

As well all know counties sit level and not bum up like defenders

Now loaded up she sits bum down, so that’s weight and with the cones up front that adds 1/2 an inch there. i also have rubber touching guards.

so what’s the best way to jump without mucking things up.

ok no luck there. the longer ball joints which were, adjustable, screw and spring disappeared around 87, apparently they are also the reason for the sagging RR back ends.

Get the springs lengthened, or fit spring packers. The latter will limit travel.

Need a spring guru, what std LR springs are longer but not stronger

I just order the adjustable and serviceable ball from MR Auto. They also have the lengthened one required where people have lifted the vehicle significantly - not sure by the sounds of it that this is the one you need. Post a photo so others might work it out. I did have a look on the web but couldn't find any reference to differences. I assume yours is part of a boge unit.

I thought the LL only pumped up when you drove off?

As for the sagging rear of RRC Id say that would be more to do with the springs than the ball joint length

they do pump-up when they drive off. but to a predetermined height. so if the ball joint is shorter then they height will translate to being lower. regardless of the springs sagging or not its the same with the RR fitted with LL

i think that is the solution. and yes the boge unit. i no longer have the original ball joint but it was like a really old school ball joint, with a screw spring and ball cap to adjust out any slack.

i had a look at the ball joints you sagested and will ring them again tomorrow. i can not see a taper on it in the photo
